The business is built around a 100 watt carbon dioxide (CO2) white light laser.
Think of it as a printer that shoots out light instead of ink. The laser is capable of cutting and engraving a wide variety of materials: paper, wood, vinyl, leather, some plastics (e.g. Acrylic, micro laminates) , and the like.
The machine will not cut metal.
The laser will engrave anything that it can cut, plus hard surfaces: glass, Corian (registered trademark of Du Pont), bone, antler, some stone, and can permantently mark stainless, chrome and titanium with an indelible black ceramic.
Other cutting equipment is available for augmenting the laser cutting service.
The goal of LaZercut is to provide economical cutting and engraving services to companies and individuals in the area of product development, as well as customization and personalization of products.
Our clients include individuals looking for personalization of gifts (engraved stemware, boxes, and "one off" items), product developers, ( clothing designers, architectural models, and wood product designers) and manufacturers (industrial marking, serialization, and product cutting and engraving).
